It smells 1000% like cut wood. I mixed just a little of it with a library/old books fragrance to give it a more realistic book smell. But on it's own it smells amazing and reminds me of my manufacturing classes when our machine would burn wood to make plaques. The smell is absolutely on point identical to cut wood.
